Dr. Waqas Ahmed founded American TelePhysicians Group of Companies with a vision to provide patient-focused connected healthcare across the globe. He believes in disruptive business model and foresees digital health and telemedicine as a promising way to deliver healthcare services across the globe.
He pioneered the concept of establishing online healthcare eco-systems and interlinking them using information technology. He is also the driving force behind the concept of connecting American healthcare market with the emerging international markets. As a CEO, he oversees the development of company’s strategy along with its board and leads the implementation of the company’s long and short-term plans in accordance with that strategy.
He is a medical graduate of King Edward Medical University in Pakistan and has worked in various healthcare networks around the world including UK and New Zealand. He moved to US in 2007 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Mercy Health System in Cincinnati, Ohio, followed by Nephrology Fellowship at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware. He is currently based in Jacksonville, Florida, where he also practices Nephrology.
Prior to founding ATP, he worked in various leadership roles and received numerous awards for his clinical research and educational work. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American College of HealthCare Executives.
Naseer Khan MD FACC
Dr. Khan is board certified in Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, and General and Interventional Cardiology. He earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, followed by a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure/Heart Transplantation and Interventional Cardiology from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has an extensive research experience and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Khan has vast experience and training in diagnosing and managing congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation and myocardial infarction. As an interventional cardiologist, he also treats patients needing angioplasty and stent placement after a heart attack. He also has special interest in managing patients with advanced heart failure by following “Get with the Guidelines” recommendations set forth by the American Heart Association.
As Chief medical officer of American TelePhysicians, Dr. Khan oversees day to day clinical and administrative operations of the company in the US. He manages company operations and projects related to EHR development, quality improvement and human resources and acts as a key member of the team connecting clinical side with the technological and marketing side of the company.
As Chief Operating Officer for American Telephysicians Group, Ms. Faiza Batta, oversees the growth strategy and leads the work to define and deliver operational excellence for the Group Companies. In addition to overseeing new business development, monitoring accomplishment, she is charged with developing and implementing policies and procedures across various non-instructional functions including operation, finance and administration. Collaboratively with the Chief Executive, she oversees a Team of professionals and leaders, works closely with the Board to ensure sustainability and growth of the Group Companies.
Ms. Batta is an International Development Banker, has over three decades of global experience in working in a Leadership role at Global development organizations and financial institutions such as World Bank Group Member organizations i.e. World Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC), International Development Agency (IDA) as well as, Bank of America, Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and OIKOS International. Her expertise span into Leadership, management, devising strategies, policies, business origination, transaction execution, portfolio management, operational supervision, government and media relations and is widely recognized for her track record of achieving exceptional policy and regulatory improvement for private sector growth, in frontier countries working together with the governments under highly challenging environment. Her diverse career profile includes proficiency in leading/managing projects related to real and financial sectors in developing countries (South Asia, MENA) to economic leaders (North America, Europe).
Ms. Batta Holds an MBA in Marketing, Masters in Economics and Masters in English literature from distinguished institutes.

Gayle Ballard is a healthcare/strategic planning executive with 20+ years of experience in clinical, financial and operational aspects of healthcare management. She earned an MA, MBA, and a certificate of achievement from the Institute for Business Strategy Development: Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.
She has served as the director of Strategic Planning/Business Development/Marketing/PR for the Hospital Corporation of America and as manager of strategic planning at OSF Healthcare in Peoria, Illinois, one of the top 10 integrated delivery systems in the country.

Dr. Hammad Bhatti earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical College Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Florida, Jacksonville. He works as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and division chief at Central University of Florida/VA Medical Center in Orlando, Florida.

Naila Goldenberg MD
Dr. Naila Goldenberg is an endocrinologist and clinical lipidologist in Cincinnati, Ohio. She obtained her medical degree at Medical School at St Petersburg State Pavlov University in Russia, followed by an Internal Medical residency at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She then pursued a fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Goldenberg is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, National Lipid Association and American Functional Medicine Organization. Mujtaba Butt MD
Dr. Mujtaba Butt is an interventional gastroenterologist who is currently practicing in Jacksonville, Florida. He is a graduate of King Edward Medical College and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
